JK Chicago is pleased to host workshops and classes with Guest Artists and Artisans. Current workshops include:
Shop Equipment & Joinery - In this prerequisite JK Chicago workshop, students learn shop safety and proper equipment usage. Get ready for Independent Woodworking and/or Woodturning classes!
Independent Woodworking - This program is a multi-level independent study course for students with an interest in gaining woodworking experience in a professional environment.
Intro to Woodturning - Learn the art of the lathe from Master Woodturner Jon Kruger. Fall and Winter Sessions begin this October!
Independent Woodturning - For students who have successfully completed the introductory course, independent shop time is available on Saturdays.
All workshops are held in the JK Chicago workshop at 1800 W. Cuyler Ave., Chicago, IL 606013.
